Twilight Zone characters love the Tower of Terror ride!

I painted this for Toby's xmas present... Some well known Twilight Zone characters (and Rod Serling) riding the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror ride at Disney's California Adventure. This was a lot of work with 13 characters and all, but I did watch continuous episodes of the show while I painted away. And best of all, Toby loved it! Someday I hope to take better photos.

Inspired by...

Disneyland and Bioshock. I painted the first one for my fiance since we go to the Magic Kingdom so often, and it really is magic... The crow painting I painted after I beat (in like 12 hrs) the new Bioshock. Love those games way too much. Enjoy.

Oh, I illustrated this rad book...some illustrations below and a link to purchase the finished product.

I recently illustrated this great children's book, Blip the Bit. It called for hand drawn pixelated characters in their retro 8-bit world. It was a new way of illustration I hadn't dappled in and it was a lot of fun to do. It's available for a limited time on Lulu and soon on Amazon. I'll post a link once it's on there.

Blip the Bit: And His Adventures in Retroville chronicles a day in the life of Blip, and his 3 friends, Bleep, Bloop, and Zip, as they skip through a computer generated town filled with classic video game characters.

Who's Afraid?

Clearly this Little Red isn't. She decided to behead the fiend, rather than give into his trickster wolfy ways. (16x20)

Spectral Incursions

Trying to do at least a painting a month, now that I'm all happy again. Perhaps they'll all include clawfoot tubs. Ghosts here. Had a weird Ouija board experience last night. I love the ghosties...

Hahhaa. oh man, i crack myself up. Just got the opportunity to do a Katamari show in a few days so of course I said yes and of course I busted this out tonight. Huzzah!

Hop, hop, Mr Bubbles!

Video game obsession becomes artistic inspiration. From Bioshock. Little sister and big daddy toy she made.

Puppet bloods

Turning a trucker hat into art...

Easier than i thought it would be. Been working on new stuff. Secret stuff. Was going to keep this secret, but i'm bad at keeping secrets and i didn't want you all to think i got on the lazy train! I'm teaching kindergarten now so I don't have quite as much time as i used to, but it's so fun! I'll never stop the arts, don't worry! All will be revealed soon...
