Tiny Show...Shrunkadunk

These are for a show in July called The Tiny Show. I decided to use shrinky dink sheets to make itty bittiness. It's a very unpredictable thing to use for fine art. Some of them have bulbous heads and whatnot, but it's great! This series is called The Armless Army and these are the 6 I have completed so far. I plan on doing 20 or so. They're all about 2 1/2" x 4". More to come!

I've been doing a lot of sketchbook stuff lately that I need to scan, but I did this piece tonight instead of scanning.

Stamped Tramp

This piece is for Tender Loving Empire next month. The title of the show is "wish you were here". Artists were asked to make art out of something they could mail, so I found this sad envelope at work and decided to use it. The show will run from May 7-30.

Since my show is now under way, these "secret" paintings can be made public. The show opening was a huge success! Pretty much everyone I know in Portland attended, friends co-worker friends and then some! It was QUITE the magical evening.
